Festive baking

I can’t believe Christmas is five days away! It’s my favorite holiday. I’m in a festive mood and decided to bake these chocolate crinkle cookies to give as little gifts. Half these cookies are rolled in granulated sugar followed by powdered sugar. The other half are rolled only in powdered sugar. Can you guess which half is which?


Note: If you want the granulated sugar to stick to the dough, I suggest not letting the dough sit, but to roll in sugar immediately once you have a round ball of dough.





P.S. The cookies that are more ’whitish’ were rolled in two different sugars. It tastes better as the granulated sugar provides a little crunch.
