I’ve never had a good pretzel because the only time I eat pretzel is when I’m at a sports arena or movie theater, and really don’t want a hot dog or fried greasy food. The salted pretzels you get at a sports arena or movie theater have been there for goodness knows how long, so they are always dry and chewy.
These onion pretzels (recipe courtesy of Nadiya Hussain - winner of the 6th series of The Great British Bake Off in 2015) are soft, fluffy, and flavorful. They certainly give the pretzels we know a whole new meaning and taste. Try it for yourself.
Note: I did not have crispy fried onions and I don’t care for chives, so I used onion powder and minced onions both by McCormick
