Cultured butter cookies contain few basic ingredients, look plain and simple, but is somehow so flavorful. A chef once told me butter makes everything taste good - it was his response to my question on why when I cook vegetables at home, they aren’t as tasty. Well, butter also makes baked goods taste amazing, especially European butter that has a higher fat content than regular American butter. The cookies turned out crumblier, crisper and definitely more buttery than regular butter cookies. Try it for yourself and you will never have regular butter cookies again.
