Instant gratification….almost

Soda bread is one where no proofing is needed so you shave at least two hours off the prep. time which takes about 15 minutes. Off in the oven it went while I folded the laundry and vacuumed, and my reward awaits. I’ve made plain soda bread, and nut + cheese soda bread, so this is my first sweet version. It is best eaten warm, with some butter.
