Missing Turkey

I miss international travel. Seeing beautiful pictures of Turkey, Morocco, and Greece on my Facebook feed doesn’t help. I visited Turkey more than 20 years ago. Three places stood out: Pamukkale, Cappadocia, and Istanbul - particularly The Blue Mosque, and The Grand Bazaar. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit a local family living in a cave home in Cappadocia and remember their hospitality, and Turkish treats the elderly lady served. I bake this Turkish Sekerpare with fond memories of a beautiful country and welcoming locals.
