Rosh Hashanah

I realized it's the Jewish New Year and I haven't braided bread dough in awhile so I decided to make Challah. I read somewhere that nuts shouldn't be eaten during Rosh Hashanah because the gematria (numerical value) of the Hebrew word "nuts" is the same as the numerical value for the word chait (sin). That said, this recipe I found has me making Dukkah (an Egyptian and Middle Eastern condiment consisting of a mixture of herbs, nuts, and spices. Hmmmm....
