I’ve made tea cakes without tea in them. This tea cake has Asam and Masala Chai tea in it. How about that? I don’t know how I came across this recipe but I’m glad I did. This cake is easy to make, is delicious, and goes well with a cup of - you guessed it - tea!
Notes:
I used 250g of sugar instead of 300g.
I used two sticks of butter which is slightly under 250g.
I don’t have a Bundt cake pan so I used a tube pan.
