Baking with fruit

I love baking with fruit especially berries and cherries. This simple recipe was irresistible, even though I had planned to make my own puff pastry. The pastry is the only technical challenge of this recipe and it’s why I bake.

Note: I did not pour the fruit juices onto the dough before baking for fear of a soggy bottom. I added the juices after the bake.
