Bread’s back!

I took a long break from bread baking. What spurred me to consider baking bread today was the spread. I came across what looked like a delicious avocado, feta, and yogurt spread so I made it this morning. It is creamy and delicious, and goes well with artisan crackers. I had a lot of spread and not too many crackers left so ..... bread!


I decided to bake ciabatta - a first. It’s a simple recipe. The dough is rather wet and sticky though so dust your work surface with a lot of flour. It turned out great - crust is crispy and the bread is soft and airy.
