Eastern European street food

I’ve only been to Czech Republic and Russia in Eastern Europe, but did not try street food. When I came across this recipe, I decided to give it a go. Burek is simple to make if you use store-bought filo/phyllo pastry. I prefer to make my own pastry, but Filo is time consuming to prepare, so decide accordingly.


I would have liked to add pine nuts to the beef but I did not have any on hand so I added chopped macadamia nuts instead. I also added cumin, paprika, and fresh ginger.
