French Christmas loaf

Also known as a couronne. It looks complicated but it’s super simple to make although it takes time because of two proofing sessions. This one is filled with dried diced apricots, raisins, and walnuts. Once baked, apricot jam is used to glaze the loaf and almond flakes sprinkled on it. It goes great with tea.
