Triple whammy

I love ginger - ginger with sushi, ginger syrup on tofu pudding, ginger drink, ginger cookies, ginger with seafood and beef, and more. When I came across this recipe that uses fresh ginger, ground ginger, and crystallized ginger; with fresh ground black pepper as an extra spicy kick, I had to bake it. These cookies are delicious!
