Chicken can be seasoned in so many ways. Today I decided to rely on a variety of spices to season a pound of chicken and ten creamer potatoes in a trio of colors:
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tbsp allspice
1 tbsp fresh turmeric
1 tbsp fresh ginger
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp crushed fresh garlic
1/2 tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 sliced shallot (3 cloves)
Salt and ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
